who are we
What started as a solo exploration of the nearby forests is now a regular outing of a bunch of friends passionate about everything mountain biking related. Almost all of our rides end up on YouTube to provide an entertainment in our old age and for us to remember that we have done some stupid 💩 over the years! 😆
We regularly ride Cannock Chase trails and consider these our 'local' so we know them as the back of our hand. We are also no strangers to Peak District, Dimmingsdale, Forest of Dean, Wharncliffe and The Wrekin to name a few.
What we do
We are trying to give back to the community by doing trail maintenance where we can (checkout the YouTube channel). We are looking for more people to join and help to preserve our local.
However...
We want to make it clear: no, we are not building the trails ourselves. Currently this is a one-man-band operation and I don't have the time or back strong enough to build trails of my own.
Strava access
Due to the YouTube channel gaining popularity and becuase of the nature of what we ride I decided to make my Strava access limited. We consider ourselves knowledgebale when it comes to our local trails and we are happy to show people around but we need to meet you in person. Call it a 'verification' of who you are if you like.
For this reason I won't be answering Strava follow requests if I don't know you or YouTube comments asking for the location of the trails featured as we don't want to put our local trails in jeopardy.
When we ride official or semi-official trails (Peak District as an example) I'll be posting the route in the video description.
