  • 03/06/25 - Good news - trail is running again! Jumps have been built over the fallen trees. The first jump looks a bit sketchy but there is a line around it.

  • 11/03/25 - Tried it again today. You can get to the last jumpy section but it’s not really worth going through the felling site just for that.

  • 31/10/24 - Still blocked by trees in multiple places. It’s possible that you can get to the best bits by going through fishertours jumpline instead of the normal entrance but I haven’t tried it.

  • 03/06/25 - The first part has been rebuilt and all jumps repaired! Trail is open in full if a bit overgrown in a couple of places.

  • 11/03/25 - The first part destroyed by the felling operations. If you really want to ride it, it is best to re-join the trail from where it crosses a narrow path coming from South Street.

  • 17/11/24 - Due to recent rain the lips on the new kickers are really slippery. Pay attention when sending these. They’ve also gone very soft so it may be better to avoid this until it dries off.

  • 15/11/24 - Some great trail improvements by the looks of it! Lots of small kickers have been added (built over the cut down trees). Haven’t ridden it myself but I’ve seen a video posted on ‘Cannock Chase MTB Riders’ FB group by Claro Oasay so check it out if you’re interested. It has a new start now.

  • 03/06/25 - Our trail pixie hero has improved this trail a lot. It has a different ending (reused exit from the old Bluefish) and a lot more features added to it so it's a lot more interesting now! The first 4 gaps remain unchanged.

  • 03/06/25 - The trail has an alternative ending (turn right before the last steepish section). It looks like this leg joins an old trail which have been tidied up and it's running again. It ends with a really offcamber rooty section.

  • 23/03/25 - One of the fallen trees has been repurposed as a drop.

  • 11/01/25 - Mr Fishy cleared all the fallen trees (!) so it’s all good now.

  • 14/12/24 - 4 or 5 trees down. Some of them are big and in a cluster so a real faff to get around. Not worth the hassle at the moment.

  • 24/04/25 - I rode it today myself, 3 small gap jumps added towards the start of the trail (just before the rooty left hand turn into a drop). Fairly easy to clear but one of the jumps has a big hole to clear so probably worth having a look first. Also the rut at the end has been widened.

  • 16/04/25 - Update from Kev: "New little gaps on Heineken are sound 👌🏻 makes it worth riding again now".

  • 13/11/24 - A big rut has formed at the 1st (main) exit from the path just before you drop down onto the fireroad. OTB candidate so pay attention. Preferably use the second exit (ignore the first right turn off, go up that path a bit, then turn right).

  • 24/04/25 - A new tricky gap jump added before it goes into the open. Some trail improvements leading to the jump and a tree just before the jump on the left has been removed. Also the right hand side turn after tha gap has been improved (berm added).

  • 24/04/25 - Lots of progress since the last time I rode this. A lot of loamy, flat turns and some really nice berms towards the end / start of Green Spade.

  • 27/02/25 - I’ve revisited to check whether any work has been done here. There seems to be some building work in progress but a lot of the trail is still in a mess. Watch the video to judge for yourself.

  • 15/11/24 - Lost to the felling. Not rideable. RIP.

  • 06/03/25 - New Trail - same start as ‘Empty pond got fish’. When you get into the woods it starts with a sharp right. Quite twisty with a small drop at the beginning. Then it opens up and it’s very loamy. One jump over a fallen tree which it’s best to first have a look at before sending it.

  • 06/03/25 - New Trail - Fast flowy trail. There is a small gap towards the end before it gets steeper. There is also a drop after a stump jump (which is after the gap). Then it ends with a nice twisty steep section. A cracking trail and great Mr Fishy’s creation again!

  • 02/03/25 - First of the big trees have been removed but there is still a tree there blocking the top of the trail. It can be a bit deceiving at speed as it looks like it has been cleared but there is another tree down straight after! There is a path around it though.

  • 12/02/25 - Couple of big trees down towards the start but can get around them. Top of the trail is very muddy! Also watch that root on the second step down! The hole is getting bigger each time and now a prime candidate for your front wheel to sink into it and go OTB. Go to the right of it!

  • 18/01/25 - There is a big tree down at the very beginning of the trail. No other way than to get your bike over it. The tree that has fallen over the gully itself feels lower and lower each time I ride this trail 😅. Stay on the bike and duck if you’re brave!
